I would like to copy all of my music files (stored seemingly randomly on the F?? folders on the iPod) into an organised library on an extenal hard drive.
Is there any program that can do this easily, or if not, which tools (particularily reliable tag reading tools) could I use to script this?
Thanks in advance |

gtkpod has a function to copy files from the ipod and it organizes them based on the id3 tags of the files. That is the easiest way to go. If you are looking for something more automated I believe there is a program called gnupod that is a command line program. My suggestion is gtkpod as I know it works and rocks. |
