Sono al passo 7 della guida dell'installazione di gentoo, ma quando dò il comando | Code: | | USE="-doc symlink" emerge '=vanilla-sources-2.6.19.1" |
mi dice che il pacchetto è mascherato da ~amd64 keyword.
Strano perchè avevo installato tranquillamente quel kernel utilizzando la stessa procedura in una precedente installazione ed ora mi dice che non è testato per la mia architettura. Come mai? Non voglio installare lo stesso il kernel dal momento che l'ultima volta andava. A cosa può essere dovuto?

al file package.unmask o a package.keywords.

Dovrebbe essere
| Code: | | =vanilla-sources-2.6.19.1 ~x86 |
nel file package.keywords

Ah già, devi aggiungere pure la categoria:

forse avevi inserito in /etc/make.conf: | Code: | | ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~amd64" |
Che io ti sconsiglio, usa package.keywords.

Attento che i vanilla-sources non sono più supportati, quindi se non hai un motivo particolare per usarli ti consiglio i gentoo-sources
