Salve a tutti, ho installato gentoo da livecd, ho riavviato, error 22 grub, ho risolto e mi ritrovo con una bella gentoo.
Però, ho qualche domanda, da porvi :
1 - Quando faccio emerge --update --ask world mi da la lista dei pacchetti e infondo mi dice :
!!! Error: The above package list contains packages which cannot be installed
!!! at the same time on the same system.
Come posso fare ??
2 - Come funziona esattamente l'opzione --pretend di emerge ?
3 - Come si usano gli USE Flag
Per ora ho solo queste

l'opzione --pretend di emerge o -p abbreviata serve per | man emerge wrote: | --pretend (-p)

--pretend is strongly recommended before installing an unfamil-

N = new (not yet installed)
S = new SLOT installation (side-by-side versions)
U = updating (to another version)
D = downgrading (best version seems lower)
R = replacing (remerging same version))
F = fetch restricted (must be manually downloaded)
f = fetch restricted (already downloaded)
B = blocked by an already installed package

ovvero mostra esclusivamente quanto portage vorrebbe fare senza effettivamente ricompilare nulla. se l'installazione è nuova e fatta con il 2006.1 molto probabilmente il problema deriva da coldplug che è stato rimosso in favore di udev. semplicemente devi rimuovere a mano il pacchetto che causa il blocco e ridare il comando emerge -uDNp world.
nel caso del pacchetto che ho citato sopra emerge -C coldplug.
In questo forum abbiamo delle linee guida che tendono ad evitare di utilizzare un thread per più problemi. semplifica la ricerca successivamente di casistiche simili e rende leggibile la discussione. quindi ti pregherei se hai più problemi ad aprire un numero differente di thread.
inoltre l'argomento use flag è stato trattato innumerevoli volte. credo che cercare un thread vecchio e continuare su quello sia molto più utile. (magari anche leggerlo dato che più o meno il funzionamento delle use flag è quello per tutti. ).
