LTSP was recenty hard masked, with no real warning, the only bug report mentions a vulnerability in libvnc. Does anyone have any idea if it is coming back? It seems strange that a package with official Gentoo documentation is now dropped. |

Yes, unfortunately ltsp is scheduled to be removed due to lack of a Gentoo maintainer.
Here is the official announcement and thread:

The good news is, it might return sometime in the future if what Daonnie sais in his reply is true. _________________ Please put [SOLVED] in your topic if you are a moron. |

As I am the one responsible for the removal: I unmasked it today and stabled version 4.2-r1 as it has no more vnc support. There is a volunteer (user) maintaining it now, I only commit his changes. |
