Update 12/7/15
I found that some of the windows had increased in vertical size but I couldn't explain why. I found out by accident that triggering the "Show Desktop" (move the mouse to the lower right hand corner) caused the window size increase. This is either a wine and or linux issue but rated very minor. I decided to disable the "Show Desktop" trigger since I don't use it. I currently use four virtual workspaces under KDE with one workspace for all the individual Sierra Chart windows. Sierra Chart allows for either:
1. All charts to be used inside one main window.
or
2. Each chart to be created in it's own window.
I chose option number 2 since it allowed me greater flexibility but the the window size increase issue wouldn't have occurred with option number 1.
Linux is supported by Sierra Chart via wine and doesn't use windows dot.net.
All other aspects for the use of Sierra Chart under linux seems to be performing as expected. |

Update 2/10/16
I have decided to conclude testing. I am pleased with the result, since there were basically no issues that impeded the use of Sierra Chart with Gentoo linux. This test is the opposite of the Ninja Trader test conducted previously. |
