many newcomers to linux complain that they don't have a proper dc client. i`ve tried to gather all the available clients here http://gentoo-wiki.com/TIP_DC_%28_Direct_Connect_%29_Clients_for_Linux.
Of course there are some other threads on this subject but all are old and bloated.
I am seeking for feedback / testing on the clients listed on that link , and maybe we can create some ebuilds for some of them and add them to portage.
I've managed to test linuxdc++ and it works great and smoothly. I know there was an ebuild somewhere but it didn`t work for me. |
