CUPS and USB printer

Hello all... Once again I am getting beaten down by Cups. I have a deskjet connected to my usb port on my pc. The device shows up with usbview so I am as sure as I can be that the kernel/usb config is fine (perhaps that is a rash assumption).

Problem: When adding a printer thruogh cups web admin I do not have a choice to select USB.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
