I'm kinda new to gentoo and linux, I know it well enough to fix simple issues but I have been searching the forums all day long trying to figure out whats wrong and havent been able to figure it out.
I've been trying to emerge KDE but it continues to fail when emerging kdelibs.

Yeah it always fails at the same spot no matter what I do. I just tried to downgrade my glibc since that bug forum said that might be why its not working, but it basically said I'm stupid for trying to downgrade it because it's a "sure way to destruction" |

I regress, I realized that KDE 3 doesnt work with qt4 but instead qt3... Sorry about that I got it to install once I recompiled with qt3 instead of 4 and changed my /etc/make.conf but thanks for your help anyway. |
