Hi,
I have some mp3 with a corrupt part at the end of the file. The mp3 file is playing very well, but in the last second of the song when there's no more sound left an ugly noisy scratch appears.
So I started audacity, loaded the mp3 and cut the last 2 seconds of the song. Then I wanted to save the file. but there was no "save"-option. I had to export the file to mp3. But I don't want encode the file again. I just want to cut the last 2 seconds of the existing file without transforming to another bit rate or file type.
Did I overlook a hidden option or is there no chance to do it in described way?
If not, are there any other programs with this feature? I still refused to try Ardour because that thing wants to install jack. And I don't like to install any sound server on my system. |
