Hello.
I have a Digital Camera: Kodak easyshare c633, and a dell latitude d820 laptop. The first time I plugged the camera into the laptop, I was able to import the photos using gphoto. [/code]So, I took some more photos, but when I went to connect the camera again, it came up with this error message:
Code: |
An error occurred in the io-library ('Could not claim the USB device'): Could not claim interface 0 (Operation not permitted). Make sure no other program or kernel module (such as sdc2xx, stv680, spca50x) is using the device and you have read/write access to the device. |
I have tried everything I could think of, but have not been able to get the pictures off again. Anyone have any ideas?
One more thing: If I boot into windows, and click the "safely remove hardware icon" without plugging in my camera it lists a usb smartcard reader, even though I (as far as I know) do not have one.
Thank you for any help.
