Hi! I'm using the hotkeys program, but assigning "konsole" to a multimedia key does run konsole, but the workdir is set to / instead of ~. I have tried with "konsole --workdir ~" and "konsole --workdir $HOME" but it's still /.
I can't hardcode --workdir /home/user because the config file is system-wide. How could I do then ? thanks. |

Why don't you give Xbindkeys a go ? I am using it with my M$ Pro Natural Leet curvy keyboard and it's working a treat. I did have to add the "xbindkeys" to my /etc/X11/Sessions/kde-3.1.1a file to get it to start up, but it's working.
Code: |
emerge -s xbindkeys
|
Strangely it doesn't come with the spiffy GUI interface so contact me or google for xbindkeys_config and compile that...very nice and it works... _________________ choff. |
