I'm getting a segmentation fault right after the intro video. This is on an AMD64 x2 with NVidia 6800 and all the appropriate emul-linux-x86 libraries installed.

I've emailed RuneSoft about this but they're not responding. Has anyone else encountered this? If so, have you found a solution? _________________ Whoever said 'a picture is worth a thousand words' was a cheapskate.

You could try the ebuild provided here:
https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-p-3815817.html#3815817
If the intro playes and then something bad happens it's mostly due to some permission problems with the game files. The ebuild should work and setup everything though. |

Apparently the installer isn't so good and I needed to unzip the "common.zip" file manually:
Code: | $ cd Games/Ankh
$ unzip '/mnt/cdrom/data/common.zip' |
Now it works fine. Note that I installed it as a normal user to my home folder so there's no issue with permissions. _________________ Whoever said 'a picture is worth a thousand words' was a cheapskate.
