Ciao.
Ho installato gentoo 2006.1 con kernel 2.6.18 sul mio Acer Aspire 1307LC con AMD Athlon XP, senza interfaccia grafica.
Volevo installare Xorg, ma prima ho fatto un update delle glibc che ha comportato l'update di altri 19 pacchetti, compreso gcc.
Dopo ho fatto e ad un certo punto della compilazione si inchioda dicendomi: | Code: | ...

No, non ho cambiato nulla...
Però, alla fine dell'installazione delle glibc, mi diceva come al solito, che dei file di configurazione in /etc andavano aggiornati...
Siccome non so niente di questa storia, ho (come mi consigliava dopo l'installazione) letto quello che saltava fuori da | Code: | | emerge --help --config |
ma siccome non ho capito molto, non ho toccato niente...
Può essere quello?

dai ed aggiorna quei file che emerge ti aveva detto di aggiornare, poi riprova a compilare xorg. |
