|
|
Hi,
I have an usb hard drive that is well matched in my udev rules :
Code: |
serveur rules.d # cat /etc/udev/rules.d/02-Maxtor-3200.rules
BUS=="usb"
KERNEL=="sd[a-z]*"
SUBSYSTEM=="block"
SYSFS{model}=="3200 "
NAME="%k", SYMLINK+="backup_hd%n"
|
But I don't want this drive to appear on the kde desktop. So, I don't want the event beeing passed to HAL or I don't want HAL to take care of this event. (This is a drive that must be kept hidden for backups only)
What should I do ?
Regards, |
