Is the any office software that saves in Microsoft Word for BESIDES open office?
I can't use OOo yet because there is no 64bit version.

You can use Open Office even if you are in a 64-bits environment.

Pretty sure abiword does. Others probably too. But you can always save in rtf and MSWord will read it just fine.

No, I choose not to run 32bit software emulation.

Actually, OO can now compile under amd64 and run in native 64 bits mode. No problem.

# grep KEYW /var/portage/app-office/openoffice/*.ebuild
/var/portage/app-office/openoffice/openoffice-2.0.4.ebuild:KEYWORDS="~amd64 ppc sparc x86"
/var/portage/app-office/openoffice/openoffice-2.1.0.ebuild:KEYWORDS="~amd64 ~ppc -sparc ~x86"


If you want, you can use rtf or use abiword or koffice, but if you need real msoffice compatibility (to an higher extent), you will need openoffice.
