I have installed Gentoo with the latest live cd, after the installation i removed Coldplug to install Udev (as it was blocking Udev). But now my NIC isn't detected anymore. The NIC is a BROADCOM model (i will post lspci output this evening). I recompiled the kernel with the BROADCOM driver build in the kernel. Still no luck
When i try to modprobe b44, i get a message about MII (will also post this error this evening)
If someone can help me with this. _________________ Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens. |

I saw on this forum, that the upgrade for udev can have some backlash...
You can check bugzilla for a possible solution... |

thx for the reply, but i fixed it by recompiling the kernel again. eth0 was also taken by ieee3945 device. _________________ Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens. |
