Hi,

I am using wget in one my programs through Perl to download some files. In order to put the files into a directory other than the current one, I found that I had to use the -P option (I wish they had made this easier to find by writing output folder or something in the man file). However when I download file to another directory, the resuming feature doesn't work. When I run the same command a second time after killing the first one in the middle of the process, the download starts again from the beginning.

I am using wget 1.10.2 on Gentoo. Has anybody experienced this? Or can anybody else verify this behavior so that I can file a bug report? I don't think this is a deliberate feature.

Thanks,
bB

Do you use the -c parameter, and does your source server support range headers?
