Hi, I'm trying to set up a server on a hardened 2.6.18 kernel. I use smc-ultra for my network card when using gentoo-sources, but I can't seem to find this option on the hardened kernel. Am I missing something or does the kernel not support the smc-ultra module? If not, is there any way I can compile the module from source code? I know that .ko files are suppose to be compiled differently. If you can give me any sort of help, it'll be greatly appreciated!

I needed to enable ISA in bus options before WD/SMC network options become available. |
