Hello, I have a http server that I want to act as a radio streaming server. The radio stream is on another computer on the network but cannot be accessed across the firewall. Therefore, I want to use VLC to stream. However, the http server does not have alsa drivers (since there isn't a sound card) installed. So when I run
vlc http://streamserver:port
I get errors like
Code: | ALSA lib conf.c:3948:(snd_config_expand) Evaluate error: No such file or directory
ALSA lib pcm.c:2090:(snd_pcm_open_noupdate) Unknown PCM default
[00000291] oss audio output error: cannot open audio device (/dev/dsp)
audio_alsa: no cards found!

Is it still possible to stream? Since I don't need the server to actually play the stuff, I just need it to stream it. _________________ How many people can read hex if you and dead people can read hex? |
