dmpogo's post over here sheds some light on the issue. I can't help but feel I am missing an announcement. |

I unmerged and emerged dbus, then I completed my emerge --deep world. All packages emerged successfully, but I noticed gnome-terminal was failing to launch. Then I ran revdep-rebuild (found in package gentoolkit), now everything works great! |
