[solved]virtualbox dies while installing XP/Vista

Virtualbox is said to emulate about 20% faster than qemu(with kqemu) and also already supports Vista, however I'm not able to install either Vista or XP. Very early in the installation process of both vista and xp I get a black blank screen, after a while the whole virtualbox windows just disappears.

Here's a couple of steps howto get virtualbox up and running, if you try it please let me know if you're able to install either xp or vista.

Instead of changing permissions on the vbox driver would it be more clean to add your user to the virtual box (can't remember what it's called but I know there is one) group?

Yes there should be a group called vboxusers however it's not created with the current ebuild.

I've similar problem.
I install WinXp without problem and when it reboots to complete the installation, on blue screen reboot again, and then again, and again...
What's the matter?
