Salut.
Voici décrit ici mes quelques déboires à garder ma gentoo stable:
04.01.2007:
Achat d'un laptop: Acer aspire 5611
Une ubuntu temporaire est installé sans soucis particulier.
20.01.2007:
Installation de gentoo comme distro principale.
Tres rapidement (ça a fonctionné quelques jours) je rencontre des problèmes lors du boot qui bloque soit sur "DHCPCD eth0" puis plus tard sur "runlevel 3" (j'ai chrooté et retiré des paquets/modules)
27.01.2007:
Réinstallation d'une gentoo en "stable" suite aux problèmes invoqués plus haut.
30.01.2007:
tout fonctionnait bien encore ce matin, j'ai éteint ma gentoo, embarqué le laptop et son alim direction les cours.
Une fois arrivé, je lance le bousin. Il bloque sur "DHCPCD eth0" (comme lors de la première installation) meme s'il n'y avais pas de connection active, DHCPCD aurait du (pu) passer outre !
N'ayant pas encore d'acces en TTY, je décide de rebooter la machine.
Une deuxième fois j'ai eu ce meme résultat.
Je décide donc de booter sur live-cd, je fais des fsck.reiserfs sur tout ce qui bouge, rien à signaler.
Je décide de me chrooter sur ma / et là, oh surprise, le chroot me jette.
je me place dans ma / avec:

cd /mnt/gentoo |
puis un
et... RIEN !
De là, je fait un

alors que sda2 fait environ 4,5GO ! pareil pour les autres.
J'ai essayé plusieurs live-cd au cas où (gentoo, backtrack...) et qtparted, sans succes.
Si quelqu'un (un guru) sait ce qui peux faire ça, comment y remédier ou m'expliquer pourquoi il ne reste que 33mo dans toutes les partitions de sda...
Si je ne trouve pas de solution je vais peut etre envisager de passer à debian ou archlinux que j'espere plus stable sur mon laptop.
Je n'ai fait aucune opération particulière qui justifie l'effacement d'un disque complet !
Edit: Si j'essaye de booter maintenant il me fait un "kernel panic", logique puisqu'il n'y a rien dans la /.

Salut,
regardes si tu as encore accès au fstab. Si oui donnes-nous son contenu. ça se trouve tu t'es planté quelquepart.
Sinon n'as-tu pas fait mumuse avec un programme utilisant directement les périphériques dans /dev (genre si tu as fait qemu -hda /dev/sda)
est-ce que tu n'as pas exécuté une mauvaise commande en root ? genre un rm -rf /;root/dossier
bref ça peut venir de beaucoup de choses...
