I install gentoo use the stage3 and use the kernel 2.6.19.2, I can not get my ipv6 address now, I just get an address like this :
inet6 addr: fe80::216:36ff:fe9b:2a7/64 Scope:Link
but not Scope:Global can be found, and I get "No router set for IPv6" from "dmesg|grep IPv6"
but when I start up the computer using the live cd of gentoo 2006.1, and set up the ip address using net-setup and "modprobe ipv6", I can get two inet6 address:
inet6 addr: 2001:256:100:3006:216:36ff:fe9b:2a7/64 Scope:Global
inet6 addr: fe80::216:36ff:fe9b:2a7/64 Scope:Link
and the connection is ok.
My computer is directly connect to the internet and I use static ip address, my net config something like this:
"/etc/conf.d/net":
config_eth0=( "X.X.X.X netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast X.X.X.X" )
routes_eth0=( "default gw X.X.X.X" )
"/etc/resolv.conf"
nameserver X.X.X.X
I have modified the kernel config again and again and search the chinese forum and this forum and can not find the answer, whis wrong with it?
Sorry for my poor English.

It is ok after I upgrade gentoo-sources from 2.6.19 to 2.6.20, it seems it is a kernel bug. |
