wie siehts eigentlich mit Xorg 7.2 und dessen Vor-/Nachteilen aus? ich find hier nix im forum

| Was soll damit sein? Es ist eine Weiterentwicklung. Z.B. wird nun Intel's G965 onboard Grafik besser unterstützt, so dass jetzt die 3D-Beschleunigung richtig funktioniert. Nachteile sollte es nicht geben. |

Gibt es eigentlich irgendwo Laptops mit X3000 (i965) Grafik?

Bezweifel ich, da der i965 Chipsatz doch eher ein Stromfresser ist. |

Wo hast du diese Info her?
Ich warte schon länger vergeblich auf ein Update der Release-notes auf der Projektseite (http://xorg.freedesktop.org/wiki/ oder http://www.x.org).
Das letzte Release ist 7.1.
Auch auf den Mirrors findet man nur files zu 7.1.
Hast du irgendeine "Geheimquelle", die du mit uns teilen möchtest?

Geheimquelle: Portage.
xorg-x11-7.2 ist da im testing. Hatte mich deswegen auch schon gewundert, aber mir tut es gut mit meiner r300, die jetzt mit dri unterstützt wird. |

Danke sehr! Hab ich über die Links auf der Startseite nicht gefunden.
Haben die gut versteckt!
Weiß jemand warum das Release offiziell noch gar nicht bekannt gegeben wurde?
Warten die noch auf die Testergebnisse der fleißigen Gentoo-User?
