Hello. I'm trying to install MythTV for the first time on my virgin Gentoo install.
I am following this thread.
I have emerged x11-libs/qt-3 without any problems and updated my environmental variables as per the thread.
However, (sometime) after I 'emerge -av mythtv' per the thread, I got these errors: | Code: | * Checking for suitable kernel configuration options...
* CONFIG_KMOD: is not set when it should be.
* CONFIG_VIDEO_CX88: is not set when it should be.
* CONFIG_VIDEO_WM8775: is not set when it should be.
* CONFIG_VIDEO_MSP3400: is not set when it should be.
* CONFIG_VIDEO_CX25840: is not set when it should be.
* CONFIG_VIDEO_SAA711X: is not set when it should be.
* CONFIG_VIDEO_CX2341X: is not set when it should be.
* CONFIG_VIDEO_SAA7127: is not set when it should be.
* Please check to make sure these options are set correctly.
* Failure to do so may cause unexpected problems.
* Once you have satisfied these options, please try merging
* this package again.

Can anyone please tell me where I set these up in 'make menuconfig'?

I know I'm a little late in responding, but thanks for the link. After some kernel re-configuration, I've now managed to install it. Now I just need to configure it  This post is now resolved.
