Hello,
I've been getting a very strange PCI kernel error. At boot time the following error message is printed out:
PCI: Failed to allocate I/O resource #7:1000@10000 for 0000:01:1e.0
lspci shows that:
00:1e.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation 82801 Mobile PCI Bridge (rev d3)
my kernel version is 2.6.18-gentoo-r6
after I looked at my logs I also found the following messages:
PCI: Bus #03 (-#06) is hidden behind transparent bridge #02 (-#03) (try 'pci=assign-busses')
PCI: Routing PCI interrupts for all devices because "pci=routeirq" specified
However setting pci=assign-busses or pci=routeirq appears to do nothing.
Has anyone ran into this before? I would greatly appreciate any help. |

Hi,
If your BIOS has "Memory hole" options, you can try experiemnting with them and see if that helps. _________________ Advanced Signature Camouflage System®(ASCS) v0.1 |
