I just installed gentoo. Under the installation ALSA failed to install. The output was something about ALSA not being there...
To emerege the alsa-driver I need the kernel source installed. Can I get that trough emerge to the kernel I have?

Check THE GENTOO ALSA GUIDE for more info - there are two ways to install the ALSA driver; this guide describes both for you.
