did you try another window manager?
if it does it only in kde and its a new setup and/or you are sure you have nothing saved for kde or any specific configs in kde that you need than you can do:
rm -rf ~/.kde*
if you are unsure that you may need anything in one of those directory than instead of doing a rm -rf you can just mv the .kde stuff in a backup directory.
this will setup your kde as if it was a fresh install. |

I have tried it last night(rm all set in my home folder),but no use.
I have emerged fluxbox also,I can use phoenix on that ,but face the same problem when I tried to launch KDE programn. |

after deleting all the .kde* stuff when you started kde again did you get the wizard that helps you setup your desktop?
one more thing I just taught off. If you hold the [alt] key on your keyboard than you can click an drag windows. Perhaps this way you can manage to change the fonts in kde?
also look at your font path in your XF86Config. Which one shows up first? try with the 100dpi font on the first line of your font path |
