|
Hi, when i emerge something i get this error
Code: | checking whether build environment is sane... configure: error: newly created file is older than distributed files!
Check your system clock |
i checked date and hwclock, both seem to be correct, even the clock is correct in the bios!
Code: | tar unpacks
tar: qingy-0.9.4/AUTHORS: tidsvärde 2006-06-08 16:52:12 är 10862549.017289585 sekunder i framtiden |
it's in swedish but it meens something in this style
Code: | tar: qingy-0.9.4/AUTHORS: timevalue 2006-06-08 16:52:12 is 10862549.017289585 seconds in the future |
any help please
Oh, and i got a crash before, and when restarting i decided to look in the bios, and set something wrong... So i reset the bios and restarted, i setup it properly right time etc... started gentoo and got some errors about wrong time etc. erorrs on filesystem was critical, and i had to reboot to fix. etc, then it booted up properly but with same time error. Oh and it said that my last filesystem check was about 10 000 days ago... check forced... And now i get these errors on emerge...

besides steps one and two, you may want to run set up ntpd as a client. it should keep your clock in tune. _________________
