I accidentally shut down my server ( running 150+ days).
On rebooting i now cant mount nfs filesystems
same version of nfs running on both machines
nfs and portmap started on both machines
AFAIK the only thing ive done recentyl on the server is upgrade baselayout
from the client I now get
Code: |
dads paul # mount -v -t nfs grenada://home/npdc1/uni /home/paul/Unistuff/
mount: failed with nfs mount version 4, trying 3..
mount: Protocol family not supported

WARNING: very wild guess!
Usualy I see "protocol family not supported" when I request an IPv6 socket, but the ipv6 socket isn't loaded... Did you request IPv6 support in the USE-flags? Is your kernel IPv6 compatible? |
