Hello,
I 'm experiencing the following situation. I 've an HP OfficeJet 4200 attached (via USB) to a Windows PC and I want to print to it from Linux with CUPS. I 've shared the printer over the network, configured Print services for UNIX, enabled LPD and configured windows firewall. When I 'm trying to print a test page (via samba or via LPD), I go to the Windows PC to check the spool and I see the job stuck at it and waiting forever. I 've also modified mime.convs (octet-stream trick for RAW) with no luck. Additionally there's nothing strange in CUPS (debug turned on) logs (except for 'no ticket cache found for root' when trying with SAMBA). Does anyone have any idea how to solve this?
