ok i just got a new mobo the ausus a8r-mx and when i try to instll the new 2006.1 amd64 ver i can see that livecd gets an ip from my router but from the gui installer i cant seem to get anything from it the motherboard uses uli chipset i also tryed to move my old nic that worked with the ne2k_pci drivers into the box and still it wont work i did lsmod and it shows up as having ne2k_pci loaded could it be my mother board or what never had this kinda problem i can install winblows and both card work like they should ?????

i found out the mobo i bought was crap would not work with any flavor of linux i tryed so i am geting a whole new mobo if anyone looks at the ausus a8r-mx board dont do it will never work unless you can find out more than i did from ausus |
