USB Problem

Guten Tag,
leider habe ich mit meinem neuen mainboard ein nettes usb problem.
es handelt sich um das asrock 939NF6G-VSTA mit nForce 430 chipsatz
Die usb tastatur und maus funktionieren einwandfrei aber ich habe noch zwei verschiedene gamepades die ich einfach nicht zum laufen bekomme
es endet immer mit folgenden fehlermeldungen :

wie man sieht erkennt er maus und tastatur problemlos. die pad´s gehen unter windows wunderbar. auch auf dem board was ich davor hatte gingen sie
also kann man das problem ja eigentlich auf den ohci_hcd treiber begrenzen das das vorherige board einen via chip hatte. leider weiß ich nicht wie ich das fixen kann.
das problem hab ich sowohl mit dem kernel 2.6.17 als auch mit dem .19.3 und mit dem .20
auch unter i386 ist das problem da . auch hab ich mal ne livedvd von madriva und ubuntu getestet .
langsam glaub ich das es da keine lösung gibt? ;(

-71 ist glaub ich ein Timeout. Hatte ich auch schonmal. Kann man nix machen -- buggiger Chipsatz. Ich hab mir irgendwann ne USB-Karte mit nem Intel-Chipsatz gekauft, damit gibt's keine Probleme. Aber falls du rausfinden solltest, wie man das beheben kann, wäre ich auch stark dran interessiert ;-)

Bzw. IST das denn überhaupt ein ohci-Host? Kein ehci? Wenn nicht, dann schmeiß den ohci-Treibner mal aus dem kernel, bzw. kompilier uhci, ohci und ehci als Modul und lad die dann einzeln bzw. in Kombinationen untereinander und schau, was passiert.

ist ohci das "coole" bei dem board ist das lspci eigentlich alle geräte nicht erkennt. also echt "buggy"
das blöde ist nur das ich keinen freien pci steckplatz habe für eine usb karte ;((((

Es gibt auch USB Karten für PCIe (falls du das schon hast

jup. danke. schade das die teile so viel kosten wie mein mainboard
und *troll* fast so viel wie eine windows xp lizenz mit der es auch gehn würde *troll*

Ne USB-2-Karte gibt's bei Reichelt für 7,10 €
Ich wußte gar nicht, daß Windose so billig ist mittlerweile ;-)

na ne ging um eine pcie usb karte die kostet schon um die 50
hab leider nur 2 pci steckplätze die auch schon belegt sind......
mein unmut geht ja auch in die richtung das man das nur durch eine neuinvestition lösen kann
ob nun software oder hardwareseitig

aber falls noch jemand nen tip hat um das eigentliche problem zu lösen wäre ich weiterhin sehr dankbar
