|
|
Hi all,
Just got a new HP DL320 G5 with a Dual Core Xeon 3050 processor (cpu family 6, model 15). Can anyone suggest CFLAGS and CHOST settings? There's no mention of this processor in the Safe_Cflags Wiki.

If it has EMT in the cpuinfo I'd try these if you want 64-bit:
CHOST="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu"
CFLAGS="-march=nocona -O2 -pipe" _________________ Please add [solved] to the initial post's subject line if you feel your problem is resolved. Help answer the unanswered

According to Wikipedia your Xeon has a Conroe core, just like a Core 2 Duo, so the CFLAGS nixnut posted are exactly the ones you need. |
