Hi
I've just installed mysqld apache2 and phpmyadmin. I've configured password for root in mysql (I can access through command line) but phpmyadmin doesn't accepts my logins It doesn't deny also but I have the login window all the time. Is there any chance to log into mysql as root via phpmyadmin? Maby I forgot about some configuration?
thanks in advance
Pozdrawiam

Not sure whether I understand your problem - did you check out the documentation that comes with phpmyadmin, specifically
Quote: | phpmyadmin/Documentation.html#config |
Setting up the config file accordingly has worked for me - I can access phpmyadmin as root reliably.
