For HAL ad DBUS, Gentoo-wiki said I should have config_kobject_uevent enabled. I can't find this in my kernel (2.6.19-r1) _________________ Obsidian

I think it's always enabled in recent kernels, and the option was removed. |

Darn, I was hoping it was a new option.
I can't get automounting with DBUS and HAL in KDE. I followed the guide over at http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_D-BUS%2C_HAL%2C_KDE_media:/
HAL is in my USE flags, so I recompiled kdelibs and kdebase. And yet I plug in a USB drive and nothing happens. Is there a log I can check?
I know it's plugged in, I can manually mount /dev/sda. _________________ Obsidian |
