Odd problem that I don't know where to begin troubleshooting. I had my PS2 keyboard working just fine with the 2.6.20 gentoo kernel. Then when sitting on a GDM login screen, the system locked (had been locked for about 3 hours by the time I sat down by the clock on the screen that wasn't updating).
Ok.. fine, so I reboot. No keyboard response on GDM after reboot. So I use a livecd to go in, chroot into my env, and remove GDM from default runlevel, reboot.
No keyboard response even at a console.
I plugged the keyboard in via USB and that works fine, but I would like to understand what went wrong since the keyboard worked under PS2 for one boot.
I'm not sure where to start as I have no real way to debug in the environment that isn't working. _________________ This signature downconverted due to premium content restrictions. |
