Hi!
I have just installed Gentoo (amd64 profile) on my ThinkPad T60 with a Radeon Mobility X1400 graphics card. When I use it with the ThinkPad Advanced Mini Dock and an external flatscreen, X dies when logging out. Nothing is written in the log files, and the X server uses 100% CPU. I have reported this as a bug https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=166639 but maybe somebody knows a workaround.
A second problem with the same computer, but without the Mini Dock. If I attach a projector as external monitor, it usually works, except for the projector in the lecture hall where I teach. It does not return EDID data, and apparently that causes X to crash when I switch to the external monitor.
