|
|
Hello,
I am running Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.1 (mozilla-launcher 1.52) on x86 and noticed that on startup (and without any other Firefox windows running) Firefox will make a brief HTTP connection to a Gentoo host (so far I have seen loom, kiwi and wren).gentoo.org but did not look into it further.
I was wondering if anybody knows if this is normal and why is that so. (if it helps I have not subscribed to any feeds)
Thanks,
Notis

do have have some gentoo websites in the options of the search field in the upper right?
maybe that's the cause.
dns tells me that there is no loom.gentoo.org. |
