Bonjour
J'ai migré ma gentoo sur un athlon 64 en copiant tout et en modifiant juste le kernel, j'avais ce CFLAG avant : | Code: | CFLAGS="-O2 -march=pentium3 -msse2 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer"

Sachant que je ne veux pas utiliser le 64 bit que me conseillez vous de mettre à la place ? et également dans le noyau j'ai laissé Pentium3 Coppermine.

J'ai lu le deuxième lien mais je trouve le gain de passer en 64bit trop faible par rapport au fait de devoir tout recompiler et d'avoir des problèmes, j'utilise vmware-server, nvidia proprio, beryl, etc...  |

Ok pour vmware-server, mais nvidia n'as toujours pas sorti de drivers 64bits? il me semble que si, non? (et beryl ça fonctionne aussi sur du 64bits je crois aussi)

Effectivement, j'utilise beryl et gnome sous un AMD 64 3200+

Si j'étais toi, je mettrais plutôt au lieu de car ça perturbe certains packages (je ne sais plus lesquels, mais ma 32bits était assez instable jusqu'au moment où j'ai mis athlon-xp au lieu de k
