I've set up swsusp2 using suspend2-sources, and emerged ati drivers 8.32.5.
I have no problem hibernating with these drivers, and resuming when hw accelerating is disabled(using MESA GLX indirect) is no problem, too, but when hw acceleration IS enabled, my processor starts to work like crazy and after resuming I get my X server back, but KDE's buttons won't come up(like the K-menu and all the kicker buttons.) also, I suspended when firefox was running, and I only got back the contours of the window.
what can I do about this? ![Shocked 8O](images/smiles/icon_eek.gif) _________________ GNU/Linux is an operating system.

sorry guys, you can lock this topic.
I found out that Amarok tries to rebuild my entire music collection every time I resume after hibernating while Amarok's on. this is because my collection is on an NTFS partition which is umounted by the hibernate script for preventing corruption.
EDIT: I just disabled "watch folders for changes" in settings-->configure AmaroK-->Collection. this solved the issue. _________________ GNU/Linux is an operating system.
