For a long time I have been using Firefox as my browser (like many other Linux users I guess). I then came to a site that didn't work with Firefox and then gave Konqueror a try. Woow!! It is fast!! (compared to Firefox). I'm definitely gonnar try using it some more.
Just wanted to share my discovery with people

This was at least true in the past, which was one of the reasons that I have used firefox until now. But the speed difference has surely become to great to ignore (when I last tried Konqueror, I couldn't tell which one was faster).
I just hope that Konqueror has caught up when it comes to rendering. |

I always liked konqueror as a browser. The only reason I use firefox as my default is for a couple often used sites that konqueror doesn't render like they are intended to be rendered. The rollover menus don't have a background and you can't actually select the items.
I don't know if it's a case of firefox correctly rendering an incorrectly coded site or what,

I've liked konqueror for quite awhile and became a total convert when they added adblock.
My favorite is being able to put in a path to the java executable avoiding hassles with confusing distro specific configurations. |
