How can I restore KDE start menu to default?
I tried to delete .kde
tried to delete ~/.config/menus/applications.menu
but all useless..

I had a menu called: Accessories
but now i cannot find it anymore.


here is my applications.menu file, but i cannot see the menu in start Menu, and even i changed "Exclude" to "Include"

I don't even have a menu called Accessories. I bet a particular app you emerged customized the kde menu. You might start with the program was in that menu?

If it was a default menu, you should have got it back when you deleted .kde. You might also want to run kpersonalizer again to reset some settings since you deleted everything under .kde.

i believe the command kbuildsycoca rebuilds the kde menus.
