Hallo,
kurze Frage:
Ich habe gerade einen Athlon 64 4000+ in meinen PC eingegebaut. Habe dann memtest laufen, um mal nachzusehen, wie schnell Cache und Hauptspeicher sind. Level 1 und Level 2 Cache sind auch erwartungsgemäß etwas schneller als vorher, bloß der Hauptspeicher ist langsamer (2040 MB/s). Der Athlon 3200+, der da vorher drinsteckte, hat es auf 2309 MB/s gebracht.
Weiß jemand, woran das liegen könnte? Oder ist memtest einfach ungenau.

Hey!
Schau mal ob dein Mainboard deinen RAM mit entsprechender Taktfrequenz gemeinsam mit einem Athlon 64 4000+ unterstützt.
Ich hätte ein ähnliches Problem, damals aber mit einem Athlon XP. Mein Mainboard unterstützte nämlich nur RAM mit 400MHz wenn die CPU Taktfrequenz unter 2800+ lag. Ich hatte aber nen Athlon XP 3000+, deshalb hatte ich starke Performanceeinbußen.

Hi,
danke für die Antwort.
Laut Homepage der Herstellers (MSI) läuft ein Athlon 64 4000+ auf dem Board. Ob es dann Probleme mit dem Hauptspeicher gibt, stand natürlich nicht dabei. Hab mal aus Forschungsdrang WinXP und Sandra von SiSoftware installiert. Danach ist die Speicherbandbreite mit dem 4000+ höher, als mit dem 3200+. Ich vermute, memtest einfach einen falschen Wert rausgibt.
