Wireless association fails, 0xc code with bcm43xx driver

I had my wireless system working yesterday, I ran some upgrades overnight (don't remember what they were, about 10 packages, nothing that seemed out of ordinary...)
Anyways, I came to skewl today, tried to connect tot he network.. and I couldn't, still cant..

I get association failed, 0xc
I have a bcm43xx module from the kernel (not upgraded, but 2.6.20 from b4) and a *cough* microsoft wireless card...
works fine under xp (I thought it might be the card...) Any ideas what this means?
