Hi!
I use beyonds-sources 2.6.19.20 with suspend2 patch. Is there any possible way to "reset" uptime? If I hibernate my computer and I'll look on uptime it show like computer was run all the time when he was really hibernated then. Can somebody help me? _________________ caruso |

It is my understanding that many programs foolishly rely on this number increasing. Pausing it might be possible, but I think resetting it would open a bad can of worms.
EDIT: Never mind: I tried to read up on it, and it looks like all those problems were fixed years ago...So maybe I'll try to do some searching for you and see if anyone does this. _________________ emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "moo" |

Did you find something?? becuse I want that also, I use a lot suspend-to-ram and it saves the state of uptime and then restore that (so it show cumulated time of all usage from boot), but I want to reset that every wake-up. Or is there some other counter from waking-up??? _________________ Arch & Fluxbox & 2.6.24-rc-zen!!!!
