Need help loading ipw3945 driver [SOLVED]

There's probably a really simple fix to this, but I'm a noob. So help me out.

The minimal install cd doesn't contain the ipw3945 wireless networking driver, which I happen to need to install.

How would I go about getting this driver on my flashdrive, ready to access and modprobe?

I'm still fairly new to Gentoo and Linux in general, so please excuse my ignorance.

EDIT:

I'm just going to stick the files needed on my flashdrive and compile it from there. Hopefully this will work.
