[mupen64] Can't load ROMs

I am trying to emulate Nintendo 64 games but I can't. Every time I open them it just say's "Couldn't load ROM!".

I have tried a few ROMs, they all have .7z endings and are from the same site since I can't find any others. When I try to load it, it just says this in the console:

How can I uncompress 7z files or Where can I get ROMs that aren't compressed?

I ran glxgears and it gives me ~1500 FPS, does this mean that is is enabled? If not how do I enable it?

The best way to check is running "glxinfo | grep direct" - if it says "direct rendering: Yes", it works.

There is no other plug in for the graphics?

Have you looked in Options -> Configure -> Plugins -> Gfx Plugin?

If there is really only one plugin, you should have a look if there are other plugins available in Portage, or otherwise you can download the package from here, which should have more plugins by default.
