Hello,
as the avidemux package is hardmasked in ~amd64, I tried http://www.doobedoobedo.f2s.com/avidemux-svn.tar.bz2 from http://avidemux.sourceforge.net/download.html. But it doesn't compile, giving the following error:

That looks like a syntax error...
Does anyone know a workaround or how to fix it?

There is a working ebuild for the Avidemux 2.3 branch in berkano overlay.
