I have an ipw2200 wireless card. After updating to the kernel to gentoo-sources-2.6.19, I have a problem with hibernate. When trying to hibernate (with hibernate-script) the computer crashes. I had no problems with kernel 2.6.18 or earlier.
Hibernate has no problems if the net.eth1 service is not started on boot. However, there is a problem if the service was started boot, but then stopped.
Hibernate log shows no errors. And nothing unusual shows up in dmesg.
Any suggestions? _________________ "Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." - Benjamin Franklin

Solved: I changed the hibernate script configuration (in common.conf) to unload the ipw2200 module. That did the trick. _________________ "Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." - Benjamin Franklin
